Aladdin for NES (review versions)

Versions of the game "Aladdin" for NES are many and all of them are ported from other systems. There were pirated versions of a completely different game in which the main character and title was replaced with Aladdin. Consider the basic versions in order.

Let's start with the best and widely known version, which was ported by the Hummer Team development team from the SNES console and released in 1995 by the pirated company JY Company.

In this version, it is necessary to note the excellent graphics (almost the maximum that the NES platform was capable of) and the pleasant soundtrack. Excellent character management. In the game there are all levels from the original on the SNES. But due to the limitations of the 8-bit NES platform, many elements have been simplified or removed altogether compared to the original game. This version was the adornment of the whole variety of games for the NES and was associated with this game console by gamers in the 90s. Often part of the cartridges multiplay. It is worth noting that subsequent pirate clones of the original version in rum with the name Aladdin (Unl) had cut down music and missing animation at the levels.

Consider the official Game Boy game port from Virgin Interactive released in 1994 for the European region.

In this version, you can note the terrible graphics, pleasant but scanty sound and not very convenient controls (switching between throwing apples and strikes with the sword is done with the Select key). But the main problem of this version is the inhibited reaction of the character to pressing the control buttons. Because of this, playing this version is unpleasant (impossible). How was it possible to spoil the game and release this squalor officially?

Now consider the version of Aladdin, from the pirate company Super Game, released in 1992. Accordingly, this version is called Super Aladdin (Unl)

This version ported to the Sega Megadrive is not bad enough. But only half of the levels have been transferred (the game ends after the level with a plane carpet). Inhibited the reaction of the character at the touch of a button. To throw an apple you need to press the Select button, which is very inconvenient. But you can beat daggers with a sword. Pleasant music. Of course, when porting, much was lost compared to the original, both in graphics and in the plot.

And now the most terrible pirate attempt to transfer (recreate) the game Aladdin on the NES. This creature released the company Chengdut-Taijing-Dadong Computer.

This Chinese product shows us a terrible (even by the NES standards) graphics and completely uncontrollable character control! Throughout the game, Aladdin’s enemies are unknown monsters of poisonous flowers. Disgusting music with depressive recursions. But at the beginning of the game we are immediately offered a choice of eight levels present in the game. In general, this version does not want to play.
